Monday late morning

I am drinking my coffee and my sister calls.  She has been out of work now for over a year with little prospects.  The world is such a different place.  We used to be able to always get "some" job to get by with, but with the economy plunge and being too close to retirement age, you can be shoved completely out of the job market, especially in your own home area.  It reminds me of how grateful I need to be that I am under a warm roof by my wood stove, using a nice MAC, talking to my husband and looking out the window onto a beautiful snowy foothills landscape.  Thank you, Lord, for all that you are, all that you have given to me and all that you have taken from me.  You are always looking out for me and seeking my best.  I love you for watching over me and leading me to keep my mind and heart stayed on you.  Keep my heart soft and help me to repent of my evil thoughts as I continue to live in the flesh.  Please help me to be more productive and others oriented.  Thank you for each day until you come.
